Step by Step

Immerse yourself in Moab's spectacular geology with our half-day private canyoning tour, perfect for those who want a safe and fun introduction to the sport. The morning will begin with a pick-up from your hotel or agreed point, where your guide will give you a safety briefing and equip you with helmets, harnesses, belay devices, ropes and gloves.

Once ready, you'll travel to a nearby canyon in the heart of Utah's canyon country. Here you'll learn fundamental climbing and rappelling techniques, supported by hands-on explanation and step-by-step demonstrations. No previous experience is necessary; the approach is didactic and progressive, so that all participants gain confidence.

Over 3-4 hours, you'll descend 4 abseils of varying heights, each offering unique views of rock formations, swathes of light and desert vegetation. The personal attention of your guide ensures that each member of the group receives real-time feedback and assistance.

At the end of the day, you will return to the vehicle and be driven back to your hotel, with the satisfaction of having explored the canyon from the inside and learned a new skill.
