London Pass: see everything and save big

The price of the London Pass is based on the number of consecutive days of use you choose. You can purchase it for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10 days, and during that period you will have unlimited access to more than 90 of the city's iconic attractions and monuments.
- Pay per day and visit as much as you like during your chosen period
- Over 90 attractions included, such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and Windsor Castle
- Includes the tourist bus and a cruise on the Thames
- Digital pass: download it to your mobile and start using it whenever you want

Is it worth buying a tourist card in London?

That's a personal decision that will depend, as you've seen, on the type of traveller you are, your budget and how long you're staying in the city. But I can give you some very simple advice. Make a list of the attractions you're most interested in visiting and organise them according to the number of days you have for your trip and how much they cost separately. That way you'll know whether it's worth buying a pass and which one includes them all.
Remember that with tourist passes, you can either get much cheaper access to more than 80 attractions if you want to make the most of London, or choose and pay for only a limited number of places because you have fewer days to travel and there are some essentials that you cannot miss.
Vicky's Traveller Tip
Make a list of the attractions you want to see and how much it would cost to buy tickets separately to compare their prices with the passes.
How do they work?

Each card is very easy to use. When you buy it online, you choose from the different options available, and when you receive it, you can download it to your mobile phone and scan it at the entrance to each attraction.
You can purchase it at any time: a month or a day before you start your trip, because your card will only be activated once you use it on your first visit. You will also receive a comprehensive digital guide in your language, with details about each place you visit, maps and useful information.
Other tips for saving money in London

London has always been considered an expensive city. And although the pound has lost value in recent years, prices for restaurants, hotels and attractions are still quite high compared to other cities. But if you plan your trip in advance and know a few tricks, your budget doesn't have to be a problem.
Use the tourist bus
Whether or not you decide to get a tourist card, taking the tourist bus will save you time and money on transport, as it takes you directly from one attraction to another without having to pay for the underground or city bus for each journey. You can read more about how it works in my article on London Hop-On Hop-Off Buses.
Take a cruise on the Thames
The same goes for the Thames cruise: there are several options, from the cheapest to the most premium. Best of all? On the hop-on hop-off cruise, you can get on and off as many times as you like to get around the city at your leisure. Read more here: 7 Best Thames River Cruises.
To visit the surrounding area, it's best to take a closed tour
If at any point you consider leaving the big city to visit the English countryside, the most charming villages on the island or the world-famous universities of Oxford or Cambridge, your budget won't be a problem if you do so with an organised excursion at a fixed price. I'll tell you about the best excursions in this guide: 11 Best Day Trips from London.
