This guided tour of the Colosseum and Arena with tickets to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill is ideal for those who want a more special experience in one of the great symbols of Rome. You will enter through a privileged entrance and go directly to the Arena of the Gladiators, an exclusive area that is not usually available with regular tickets.

Once inside, you will tour the Colosseum accompanied by a professional archaeologist, who will explain how the ancient Roman engineers built this impressive structure and why it became one of the most important political and social centres of the Empire. You will also discover how the spectacles and combats that marked the history of the amphitheatre took place.

After the 75-minute guided tour, you can stay inside the Colosseum for as long as you wish.   • Colosseum is wheelchair accessible; the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill are not accessible.
