Step by Step
Delve into the heart of ancient Rome with this small-group guided tour that will take you to three of the most important archaeological sites in the world: the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. Accompanied by a professional guide, you will discover the history, architecture and legends that still survive in these ruins.
You will begin your tour by entering directly into the arena of the Colosseum, an exclusive privilege that will allow you to walk on the same ground that the gladiators walked on centuries ago. From there, you will be able to contemplate the amphitheatre from a unique perspective, while your guide takes you back to the time of the Empire.
After this experience, you will continue to the Roman Forum, where the political, social and economic life of Rome took place. You will stroll among temples, basilicas and ancient ruins as you learn how the city's nerve centre functioned.
The last stop will be the Palatine Hill, one of Rome's seven mountains and the place where, according to legend, the city was founded. From its heights you will enjoy privileged views of the Forum and the Circus Maximus, while discovering the stories of the emperors who lived there.
Thanks to the small size of the group, you will be able to interact with the guide, ask questions and live a closer and enriching experience. A perfect opportunity to soak up history in the place where it all began.
