You’ll have access to the Palatine Gallery to view works of art by renowned Italian artists such as Raphael, Titian, Artemisia Gentileschi, Van Dyck, Rubens and Caravaggio.

Some of the works you’ll find include:

  • The Grand Duke’s Madonna: an Italian Renaissance oil painting by Raphael Sanzio
  • The Portrait of Pietro Aretino: an oil-on-canvas portrait from 1545 by Titian

You will also enter the opulent royal apartments where one of the most renowned families of the Renaissance lived, the Medici, who once chose the palace as their ducal residence.

At the Pitti Palace, you can explore the opulently decorated interior rooms and their varied styles, which differed according to the family living there, such as the Pitti, Medici, Habsburg or Savoy families.

You’ll also be able to take a stroll through the Boboli Gardens, considered one of the largest in Florence, covering 45,000 square metres. You’ll appreciate the grandeur of its fountains, marble statues, a small lake and the ancient amphitheatre.
