Step by Step

Explore Iceland’s south coast on a guided tour of the glaciers and waterfalls. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours and includes admission to various natural attractions such as:

  • Skógafoss Waterfall: gain access and explore the waterfall from behind. You’re bound to be amazed by the almost permanent rainbow that accompanies this natural gem.
  • Skógar Folk Museum: visit the museum, which houses over 15,000 historical artefacts from Iceland, and discover how people lived and worked centuries ago.
  • Solheimajökull Glacier: situated near Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe. Walk through this natural wonder until you reach a lagoon formed by the glacier itself.
  • Reynisfjara Beach: a black-sandbeach surrounded by striking, towering basalt rock formations that create a stunning natural landscape. It is situated very close to Vik.
  • Seljalandsfoss: a waterfall around 60 metres high that originates from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. You can walk right behind it and view it from every angle.
  • Vik: a fishing village surrounded by immense cliffs, monumental rock formations and volcanic black-sand beaches.

On the way, you’ll also be able to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, accompanied by your local guide.

Return transport from Reykjavík will be provided in a comfortable coach, collecting from selected hotels.
