Step by Step
Experience a unique experience just minutes from Orlando with this thrilling airboat ride through the Florida Everglades. Aboard a propeller-driven flatboat, you'll cruise the open waters of the wetlands in search of alligators, turtles, herons and a variety of native wildlife. All this accompanied by an expert captain who will share fascinating facts about the local flora and fauna.
The tour begins and ends at Boggy Creek Eco Park, a 32-acre space full of surprises for nature lovers. Before or after the walk, you can hike trails surrounded by greenery, visit a colourful butterfly garden or get up close to the alligator viewing area.
For those who wish to complement the adventure, the park also offers other experiences (not included in the general admission) such as gem and fossil mining, or a visit to the Native American Village, where live demonstrations of tools, cooking and ancestral customs of the Jororo tribe take place.
And if you get hungry after your adventure, you can enjoy a typical meal at the Boggy Bottoms BBQ restaurant by the lake. Although food is not included, the ambience and views are well worth it.
