Step by Step

Experience the magic of winter in New York by skating at Central Park's Wollman Rink, one of the city's most iconic venues. With your timed ticket and skate rental included, you can glide around one of Manhattan's largest rinks for an experience that combines fun, music and breathtaking views.

Located just steps from the Plaza Hotel and Central Park Zoo, the rink offers a spectacular setting to enjoy with friends, partners or family. After a couple of laps on the ice, you can take a break at Café Wollman, grab a hot drink and return to skating at your leisure - your ticket allows you to stay as long as you like.

Throughout the day, the rink has short maintenance closures to resurface the ice, ensuring a perfect skating surface. And if you prefer, you can bring your own skates to enjoy the experience even more.

Children under the age of 12 can request skating aids (at an additional cost of $25), ideal for young learners. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and warm clothes and socks are recommended for comfort and enjoyment.

It is not an Olympic track, but the magic of the park makes it unique. Ideal for a different kind of afternoon.

Large spaces, natural light and late Christmas atmosphere in January. Great experience.

The "minor but": at one point the music got very low and the atmosphere was a bit muffled.
