Surf Lesson in Lisbon

This experience offers you a surfing lesson lasting approximately 2 hours, led by a certified professional instructor.

You’ll also be provided with a wetsuit (either a summer or winter wetsuit, depending on when the activity takes place) and a surfboard (hard or soft). The lesson will take place on the Costa da Caparica, one of the longest beaches in Europe. It is about 15 kilometres from Lisbon, but transport is included in the experience, so you don’t need to worry about organising anything.

The activity, suitable for both beginners and advanced surfers, will consist of a full surfing lesson. The instructor will teach you everything you need to know about surfing techniques, analysing the water and the waves, as well as safety procedures. You’ll do a warm-up and, on the shore, you’ll be given some brief guidelines and tips on how to tackle the waves on your board. Whilst you’re riding the waves, a photographer from the team will capture your best moments and techniques on the board.

The Costa da Caparica is the perfect spot for surfing and other water sports such as bodyboarding. Situated very close to the mouth of the Tagus and just 15 kilometres from Lisbon, Caparica is a lively area, with restaurants, pubs, nightclubs and terraces where you can relax and unwind. It’s certainly the best way to round off a thrilling surfing adventure.
