Step by Step

If you're in Tokyo and dream of seeing Mount Fuji from the best angles, this tour makes it possible without the hassle. In just one day you'll visit the region's three most iconic lakes- Shoji, Kawaguchi and Yamanaka- all with spectacular views of the sacred volcano.

The tour starts in the city centre, where you will board a comfortable, air-conditioned sightseeing coach. The first stop is the tranquil Lake Shoji, known as the "Switzerland of the East", where you can view the famous Kodakifuji landscape, with Fuji framed by Mount Omuro.

Afterwards, you will reach Kawaguchi Lake, an ideal vantage point to admire Mount Fuji. Depending on the time of year, you will also visit Oishi Park, the Momiji Corridor (autumn) or the Cherry Blossom Festival (spring). Here you will enjoy some free time and have a chance to have lunch.

The route continues along the picturesque Honmachi Street shopping street, where the Nichikawa watch shop offers one of Fuji's most iconic postcards of traditional architecture. Next, you will explore the charming village of Oshino Hakkai, where eight natural springs gush out of a Japanese painting.

To close the day, you will make a final stop at Lake Yamanaka, the largest of Fuji's lakes, where the landscape combines water, mountain and sky in perfect harmony. From there, you will return comfortably to Tokyo, with your heart and camera full of memories.

This tour is designed to offer a complete experience in a single day, combining nature, culture and photography. Ideal for travellers looking to see Mount Fuji from multiple angles without worrying about logistics and language.

Comfortable bus, well-spun route. Local handicrafts in the Nichikawa shop very interesting. The only thing missing was a softer voice from the guide in some parts.

Recommended for families. My son really enjoyed the lakes and it was flexible for everyone. Maybe warn about the long trip in advance.
