Experience the magic of scuba diving in Okinawa's Blue Cave with this half-day excursion designed for beginners and experts alike. Guided by a professional English-speaking instructor, you will descend from the shore and explore the famous underwater cave, snorkelling or diving in shallow water (even if you can't swim!).
The meeting point is at 2668-1 Yamada, Onna Village. Arrive 20 minutes before the start time (09:40 local time) with your e-confirmation or booking name.
This approximately 2-hour experience (40-50 min of water) includes shuttle transportation, pre-training, full equipment and personal assistance.

Step by Step
Your adventure starts around 09:30 h at Onna Village. After check-in and signing the disclaimer, you will receive your snorkelling/snorkelling equipment and a short training on land. The instructor-student ratio is 1:8 for snorkelling and 1:2 for deep diving, ensuring close attention.
A free shuttle will take you in 5 minutes to the cave access. There, the instructor will explain the precautions, the descent route and show you how to walk carefully down the long (slippery) stairs leading to the sea. Respect the signs, keep to the right and walk slowly.
Once in the water, you will be guided by the instructor from the shore. The bottom is low enough to touch with your feet at first, so even non-swimmers will be able to enjoy it in complete safety. You will then enter the Blue Cave, where the filtered sunlight creates spectacular blue sparkles.
After a 40-50 min dive, you will return to the entry point to shower briefly, change and finish the experience at the same spot around 12:00 noon. From there, you are free to continue exploring Onna Village on your own.
