Churaumi Aquarium is the heart of Ocean Expo Park, a complex that combines natural beauty, Okinawan culture and entertainment. Its main tank, Kuroshio Sea, is the second largest in the world, housing schools of fish, whale sharks and manta rays swimming in a space of colossal proportions.
In the Coral Sea area, you'll see over 800 colonies of live corals, showcasing the richness and fragility of tropical reefs. Next, explore the Deep Sea wing, where Okinawa's abyssal creatures come to life in semi-dark environments teeming with rare species.
During the day you can enjoy dolphin shows and diving demonstrations at the Kuroshio Tank, which offer a unique insight into the feeding and care of marine species.
