Step by Step

In small groups of no more than 8 people, you’ll have the chance to stroll through and learn about the history of this covered passageway in the Montmartre neighbourhood, guided by a professional guide. Over the course of this tour, which lasts approximately three hours, they’ll explain all the details about this network of passageways, situated in the centre of Paris and resembling an old shopping centre.

The guide will show you and explain all the architectural details of this arcade and the history behind the shops and galleries inside.

As well as learning about the history, you’ll also have time to pop into the dozens of shops and galleries inside the covered arcade.

During the tour, you’ll have the chance to round off your Parisian experience by enjoying a cheese platter and a wine tasting at one of the arcades’ restaurants. However, those under 18 won’t be able to take part in the wine tasting, as they’re not permitted to drink alcohol.

We know you’ll be surprised to find yourself in a covered space right in the heart of Paris. So, let yourself be swept away on this tour and enjoy the history – and, why not, a spot of shopping too.

I loved it, I came back with more desire to return than to leave Paris. I think I still have a lot to see in this beautiful capital. On this kind of tour you can see how important it is to go with a guide who knows what he's talking about. I brought back several souvenirs that I got in the shops. I'll do it again as soon as I can!
