Step by Step

Embark on a private motorboat from Aswan and glide down the Nile feeling the breeze as you make your way to the historic Nubian village of Gharb Soheil. On the outward journey, your guide will point out landmarks such as the Aswan Botanical Gardens, Elephantine Island, the Nilometer and the First Waterfall, giving you historical and cultural context at each visual stop.

Upon arrival at Gharb Soheil, you will be greeted by a Nubian family in their colourful riverside dwelling. You'll have the opportunity to share a traditional Egyptian coffee or a vibrant karkade (hibiscus) tea, while you chat and discover the daily life, customs and legends of this ancient community.

After this warm welcome, you'll stroll through the local market, full of spices, handicrafts and handmade textiles. You will admire the brightly painted houses, a Nubian hallmark that contrasts with the deep blue of the Nile.

Before returning, you will still have time to stroll along the banks, admire the vernacular architecture and bring back authentic souvenirs. At the end of the tour, the boat will take you back to your hotel or boat in Aswan, with the peace of mind of having experienced an unforgettable cultural encounter.

This private tour allows you to customise the pace and duration according to your interests, guaranteeing exclusive attention and an uncrowded experience.
