Step by Step
Discover the majesty of the giant redwoods on this historic trail, which follows an old stagecoach road in Yosemite. At 6,000 feet, you'll walk in the shade of ancient trees, crossing natural passageways and through fallen redwoods, as your guide tells you about the evolution of this unique ecosystem.
The trail climbs 400 feet, offering breathtaking panoramas of the valley and delving into the ecology and conservation challenges of the redwoods. You will learn why these redwoods reach extraordinary sizes and how they have withstood the centuries and natural fires.
At the conclusion of the tour, you'll descend to the banks of the South Fork of the Tuolumne River, where an outdoor barbecue will be held. You'll enjoy a fire-cooked lunch and take a dip in the clear waters, celebrating the hike in a relaxing and scenic setting.
This small group tour (max. 9 travellers) guarantees personal attention and a close atmosphere, perfect for families with older children, couples or nature lovers. The guide will take care of all the details and show you the best spots in this corner of the park.
In addition, the transfer to and from strategic points such as Echo Adventures Yosemite Basecamp or Tuolumne Grove Trailhead is included, facilitating access without the need for your own car.
