Step by Step

On this 2-hour tour you will have the opportunity to cruise along the San Francisco Bay shoreline at sunset.

With the lapping of the waves as background music, you'll see the sun reflect off the Golden Gate Bridge's pillars . This iconic bridge, symbol of the city, was built during the 1930s. It was part of a building programme started by President Roosevelt in an attempt to reduce unemployment at the time caused by the Great Depression.

You'll see the historic Fisherman's Wharf, the city's popular waterfront neighbourhood filled with historic boats, local food stalls and even an old chocolate factory . As you cruise along the Marina District's coastline, you'll see the colonies of sea lions, sea turtles, dolphins and many other species that inhabit its waters.

You'll see Fort Mason, a former military base now transformed into an event space and multi-purpose arts complex. From the deck of the ship, the famous Alcatraz Island, once the most secure federal prison in the United States , will appear out of the fog . Closed since 1963, the site has since become one of San Francisco's most visited tourist attractions.

The Coit Tower, with its art deco style , or Salesforce Tower, the largest skyscraper in the city, are other impressive buildings in San Francisco that await you on this tour. The well-known Yerba Buena Island and the artificial Treasure Island also await you. The latter was named after Robert L. Stevenson's novel of the same name, Treasure Island, as the author lived in the city between 1879 and 1880.
