Step by Step
Leave Miami behind for a day and head for Key West, an island known for its colourful houses, its relaxed atmosphere and its distinct Caribbean character. The journey is by coach along the Overseas Highway, a scenic route that crosses numerous islands and 42 bridges before reaching the southernmost tip of the Florida Keys.
The transport-only option includes the return journey and free time to organise your visit as you wish. You can stroll along Duval Street, visit Mallory Square, take photos at the Southernmost Point, relax on the beach or explore some of the island’s museums and historic buildings at your own pace.
You can also add an approximately 2-hour glass-bottomed boat trip. The boat cruises over the local reefs, allowing you to observe fish, corals and other marine life without having to get into the water. Departure is subject to weather and sea conditions.
To discover the island’s history in comfort, choose the sightseeing train option. You’ll enjoy a narrated tour of around 60 minutes through the old town, featuring stories about the characters, pirates, pioneers and events that have shaped the character of Key West.
More active options include an approximately 3-hour catamaran trip with snorkelling and drinks, or a roughly 3-hour excursion to spot wild dolphins and go snorkelling. In both cases, the necessary equipment is provided and you’ll be able to enjoy drinks on board, depending on the option you’ve booked.
