The specialised staff will meet you at the dock, adjust your life jacket and explain the proper paddling technique to make you feel comfortable even if it's your first time kayaking. Before setting off, you'll receive a brief overview of the rules for respecting wildlife and keeping the right distance from dolphins or manatees.

You'll paddle through the calm channels of Rose Bay, an estuarine ecosystem where shallow waters and riparian vegetation attract fisher birds, turtles and colourful fish. The freedom of the route allows you to decide whether you prefer to skirt the mangroves, seek out open areas for more intense paddling or stop in shady spots to relax.

In the warm season, dolphins often appear in small groups, following you from a distance; during the cooler months, manatees take refuge in the warm waters nearby. Although sightings are not guaranteed, paddling in silence increases the chances of unforgettable encounters.

Standard rental time is around 60 minutes, but you can extend your time on the water by hiring extra hours (subject to availability). All equipment is provided by the team, so all you need is a towel, sunscreen and your camera in a waterproof case.

On your return, you'll have a few minutes to discuss the route with the staff, share photos and get recommendations for other water activities in the area. A perfect way to add adventure and nature to your Daytona Beach holiday.
