Discover the city’s main attractions with the Big Bus Chicago sightseeing bus. Its hop-on hop-off system allows you to travel the entire red route, get off at the stops of your choice and hop back on to continue your tour at your own pace.

Step by Step

The Big Bus sightseeing bus is a convenient way to explore Chicago and travel between some of its most iconic landmarks. You can stay on board to enjoy a comprehensive panoramic tour or get off at any stop to explore the area and rejoin the tour later.

Both tickets cover the Grand Loop or Red Route, with stops strategically located next to the city’s main attractions. The itinerary passes close to the Chicago Riverwalk, Skydeck Chicago and the Willis Tower, Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, Grant Park and the Adler Planetarium.

The route also provides easy access to the Museum Campus, home to the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium, as well as Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, 360 Chicago and the lively River North neighbourhood. In total, there are 11 stops to help you tailor your visit to your interests.

The Discover ticket offers unlimited access to the hop-on hop-off service for 24 hours. The Essential ticket extends the validity to 48 hours and includes a free download of the Vox Self-Guided Walking Tour app, which allows you to round off the experience with a self-guided walking tour.

Validity begins when you activate the ticket on the booked date. You can start your tour at any of the designated stops and, from that moment, hop on and off as many times as you like during the 24 or 48 hours corresponding to your chosen option.

    I would definitely recommend the Deluxe ticket. In addition to the variety of stops and the ease of transportation, it included a ticket to Skydeck Chicago. Amazing views and we took some great photos.

    Chicago is a great city and this type of bus is a great way to see as much as possible in a short time. I recommend checking the weather beforehand, so you can sit at the top of the bus and enjoy the panoramic view.
