Visiting the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Phuket is much more than a sightseeing excursion: it is an opportunity to connect with nature and participate in a project that promotes respect and care for elephants. During this half-day experience, you will participate in ethical activities that support the welfare of animals rescued from harsh conditions.

After pick-up from your hotel, you will arrive at the camp surrounded by tropical landscapes. There, a local guide will give you an introduction to elephants, their behaviour and how to interact with them safely and respectfully. Soon you will be feeding the elephants, giving them a mud bath or even helping to prepare their natural food supplements.

The experience continues with a refreshing bathing session with the elephants and a shower for you with facilities available. You can also participate in activities such as creating recycled paper from elephant dung and a culinary demonstration of Pad Thai.

To round off the visit, you will enjoy a typical Thai meal with seasonal fruits. This is an ideal activity for those travelling as a couple, with friends or as a family, who wish to experience an authentic encounter with the local wildlife.
