Experience Highlights

Embark on this advanced dive course available with both PADI and NAUI, and take the next step in your underwater education. This programme allows you to arrange your study schedule, either individually or in a group, to suit your pace of life and level of experience after obtaining your Open Water certification.

The training combines classroom theory, pool practice and 5 exam dives in the sea (weekend in Pattaya), including boat pick-up and drop-off. To enrol, you just need to present your Open Water Diver certification and book at least 1 day in advance before 18:00 (Thailand time).

The meeting point is at Dive Evolution's headquarters in Prawet, Bangkok. Instruction is conducted in English by certified instructors, and upon completion you will receive your advanced dive card (C-Card).

Step by Step

The Advanced Open Water Diver is the next stage after your basic certification. In this course, you'll learn to make deep dives beyond 18m, master underwater navigation and improve your underwater safety and autonomy skills.

Training begins with a half-day of theory in our Bangkok classroom, where you'll review advanced concepts in physiology, dive planning and risk management. You will then spend 1-2 pool sessions (depending on your progress) practising manoeuvres such as buoyancy control and regulator recovery.

After completing the theory and pool sessions, you'll travel to Pattaya for two days of exam dives, making a total of 5 boat dives. Here you will put into practice what you have learnt, backed up by certified instructors to ensure your safety.

In addition to the compulsory dives, you can choose three specialities from options such as wreck diving, night diving, drift diving, search and recovery, perfect buoyancy and multilevel with dive computer, paying for the extra module on site. This way, you expand your skills for any underwater environment.

At the end of the dives, you will receive your NAUI/PADI Advanced Diver E-Card, with special discounts on diving equipment (masks, fins, computers, etc.), and the satisfaction of having broadened your underwater horizons.
