This hammam, one of the best known in Granada, is situatedat the foot of the Alhambra. The concept of the hammam originated in Arab culture as a place of preparation for prayer. As its popularity grew in the region towards the end of the 14th century, these beautiful baths were found alongside mosques and medinas, and became public baths.

With this booking, you’ll be provided with a towel, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, moisturiser and access to lockers to store your belongings. Please note, however, that you’ll need to bring your own swimwear from home or purchase it at the hammam.

During this water journey, you’ll be able to try up to three baths at different temperatures so that your body can fully relax over the course of 75 minutes. Another option is a massage with essential oils to round off your experience; you can choose between a 15-minute or 30-minute session.

This hammam features an Arabic design that will transport you back eight centuries, to the time when the Alhambra was built. In addition, Arabic music will play in the background to help you relax even further.

All the staff inside the Hammam Al Ándalus are very attentive. They have thought of absolutely everything, there were even colets and hairdryers in the bathrooms.
