Step by Step
La Cueva Zincalé was born in 2022 with the aim of uniting tradition and culture in a spectacular setting in Sacromonte, one of the most emblematic flamenco districts. Its rock walls and authentic decoration will make you feel part of a gypsy family, where singing and dancing flow without barriers.
Every night, leading figures from Granada's flamenco scene take to the stage to offer their Zambra Gitana: a show full of art, feeling and duende. The name "Zincalé" comes from the Caló language and means "gypsy", reflecting the pure essence of flamenco that is experienced here.
For 50 minutes, the artists combine guitar playing, heartfelt singing and improvised dancing, covering traditional palos such as tango, soleá and bulería. The proximity of the audience and the natural acoustics of the cave intensify the experience, making it more than just a concert: a ritual of passion and dedication.
Moreover, being located in Sacromonte, with its troglodyte dwellings and multicultural past (gypsies, Arabs and Jews), the show acquires a historical background that connects you with the oldest roots of flamenco.
Finally, at the end of the Zambra, you can settle the excitement by strolling through the narrow streets of the neighbourhood, with panoramic views of the illuminated Alhambra and the old town of Granada at your feet.
