Step by Step

Stroll through and admire the streets of Lisbon on this city tour, which lasts between 3 and 4 hours. As you can see, this tour is conducted on foot with groups of around 20 people. This means the group isn’t too large, so you can walk comfortably. What’s more, you won’t be walking alone, as a local tour guide will accompany you throughout the tour.

This guide will explain each of the places you visit, whether they are monuments or entire neighbourhoods of the city. Specifically, some of the most important monuments you’ll visit are:

  • Lisbon Cathedral: a Romanesque-stylecathedral built in 1147
  • Restorers’ Square: dedicated to the restoration following Portugal’s independence
  • Rossio Square: the heart of the city
  • Praça do Comércio: a beautiful square situated next to the River Tagus

However, Lisbon’s attractions aren’t limited to monuments. You’ll also visit the famous Moorish quarter of Alfama. This is Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood, which survived the devastating 1755 earthquake that struck the capital. Another of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods is Chiado, which you’ll also get to explore on the tour.

What’s more, this tour includes a variety of tastings. Specifically, you’ll enjoy wine tastings and traditional tapas from Lisbon and the surrounding regions. And let’s not forget the capital’s most iconic dessert: a small pastel de nata.
