Step by Step

Make the most of this opportunity to embark on a cruise along the Vistula, Poland’s most important river. The cruise, lasting approximately one hour, includes an audio guide so you don’t miss a single detail of everything you’ll see from the water.

On this pleasant cruise, you’ll be able to see Kraków’s most significant sights:

  • Wawel Castle: the former residence of the kings of Poland, it is the country’s most important historical site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Manggha Museum: a building with a wave-shaped roof where Japanese art and technology are exhibited.
  • Cricoteka: a theatre and exhibition centre dedicated to the performing arts, featuring striking modern architecture.
  • ‘Church on the Rock’: this is the main pilgrimage church for devotees of Saint Stanislaus, Archbishop of Kraków.
  • Bernatka Bridge: a bridge adorned with acrobatic sculptures, where countless Kraków couples have attached padlocks engraved with their names.

You’ll also pass through the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, which was severely affected during the Second World War. Part of the filming for the famous film*Schindler’s List* took place in this district, as it is home to many interesting sites such as Oskar Schindler’s factory and the Remuh Synagogue.

The Monastery of the Norbertine Sisters and the family home of Pope John Paul II are among the other sights you’ll see on this walk.

The Vistula allows you to cross the city by boat, amidst buildings where religious and cultural significance is ever-present. On both sides of the boat, you’ll find monuments and sites of historical interest to Poland’s history. All this is set against a backdrop of stunning natural scenery and the tranquillity of the river.

It is undoubtedly the perfect outing for a romantic date, an original plan with friends or a pleasant experience with your family.

I love cruise tours, they are a perfect place to forget about everything and enjoy what's around you. I think a glass of wine or a coffee would have been ideal for a better experience. Despite this, the experience was very good and I'm looking forward to repeating it in the future.

Perhaps the short duration does not benefit the tour much. It was a very nice experience, but it is true that we would have liked the tour to last longer.
