Step by Step
This 4-day tour takes you from Marrakech to Fez through some of the most spectacular landscapes in North Africa. Along the way, you will have the unique experience of entering the Sahara Desert, staying in a camp in the middle of the dunes and spending time with nomadic Berber families.
The first day begins by crossing the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. You will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spend the night in the Tinghir region.
The next day, you will explore the famous Todra Gorges before arriving in Merzouga, where your desert adventure begins: you will ride a camel to your bivouac in the dunes and dine to the sound of traditional music. Day 3 is dedicated to exploring the area: you will meet nomadic families, listen to Gnawa music in Khamlia and enjoy the tranquillity of the Sahara.
Finally, on the last day you will travel to Fez, through the cedar forest of Ifrane and Azrou, where you will see monkeys in the wild. The route also includes a stop in Midelt, in the heart of the Middle Atlas, for lunch and a rest before arriving at your destination.
This tour is ideal for those looking for a cultural, natural and spiritual adventure in Morocco, all in one well-organised route, without having to return to Marrakech.
