Step by Step

Embark on a unique experience with our Sunset Kayaking Tour in Langkawi. As soon as you arrive at the Tanjung Rhu Mangrove Jetty, you will feel the sea breeze and hear the gentle murmur of the waves, a prelude to an unforgettable adventure. After a brief safety briefing, you'll slide into your double kayak to begin your journey through the waterways of the Geoforest Park, a World Heritage Site for its impressive karst geology.

As you go, your guide will point out the species of mangrove trees and the birds that nest in their branches: herons, kingfishers and, hopefully, an endemic species in the late afternoon. The sun slowly creeps towards the horizon and paints the sky in reds and oranges, creating a picture postcard setting where every stroke becomes a magical moment.

At a clearing by the water you will make a brief stop for those who wish to take a quick dip. You will then continue on to a natural viewpoint where a light dinner of local flavours awaits you: kebabs, fresh fruit and snacks to restore your energy as the sky turns from golden to indigo.

Before heading back, your guide will share legends of the area, from ancient navigators to stories of hidden treasures. At night, the reflection of the moon on the sea and the fireflies over the mangrove swamp will accompany you back to the dock, closing this journey with a flourish.

Waistcoat smelled a bit musty, but the sunset makes up for it.

Bring extra water, you can never have too much; at the end they give you cold local soda.
