Step by Step

The MUSE - Science Museum of Trento is more than a museum: it is a laboratory of curiosity and environmental awareness. Conceived by architect Renzo Piano, the building itself is a statement of sustainable design, and inside it displays six levels of content that connect visitors of all ages with the great themes of contemporaneity: nature, mountains, technology and the future.

From the moment you enter, you can lose yourself in sensory and scientific itineraries: see mountain species up close in The Great Void, walk through the waterfall that leads to the Tropical Greenhouse - home to exotic Tanzanian wildlife - and let the little ones explore Maxi Ooh! a play area specially dedicated to children from 0 to 5 years old.

Its interactive installations and suggested tours allow you to build a rich and personalised experience. The maximum allowed stay is 3 hours, enough to cover the essentials without rushing.

Impressive for its modernity. The slow lift is compensated by everything you see upstairs.

We spent 10 minutes in the queue for the planetarium, but it was worth it. Well signposted, easily accessible.
