Step by Step
The day starts at the Columbus Yachting Club dock, a short walk from the historic centre of Trapani. While the crew hoists the sails and the skipper reviews the safety rules, a light sea breeze announces the course to Favignana. The first anchorage allows you to dive over posidonia meadows and tuff caves: the guide points out the best spots from the deck and, if you wish, lends you floating churros to relax on the surface.
Back on board, an aperitif with a drink is served. Refreshed, you disembark at the port of Favignana and have an hour at your leisure to stroll among the pastel-coloured houses, have an almond granita or buy some canned bluefin tuna made on the island.
The afternoon continues towards Levanzo, the wildest of the Aegadian Islands. At anchor, the limestone cliffs act as a natural windbreak and the water takes on an emerald hue. You can launch from the stern platform or stay on deck sunbathing while the guide narrates legends of corsairs and tonnara warehouses.
In the golden light of dusk, the ship resumes its return voyage. In the distance, the domes of Trapani turn pink and Monte Erice bids farewell to the day. At 18:00, you disembark at the same dock with your skin salty, your camera full and your heart conquered by the Egadas.
