The 4-hour option is ideal for those who wish to discover the Appian Way, the aqueducts and the main ruins along the route in an agile and complete experience, without an inside visit to the catacombs. The 6-hour option, on the other hand, adds a guided visit to the Catacombs of San Callisto or San Sebastiano, where you will learn about ancient Roman funerary traditions and explore underground tunnels steeped in centuries of history.

The level of difficulty of this route is intermediate.
For safety reasons, children under 1 year of age are not allowed to participate.
Babies from 1 to 4 years old travelling in a child seat (with a load capacity of up to 49 pounds or 22 kg) come on the tour free of charge.
For children aged 5 to 8 years, a children's extension (child simplifier) is foreseen.
Children aged 9 years and older can ride independently on electric bicycles of the appropriate size.
On Wednesdays, the route includes a diversion, so the journey can take half an hour longer (4.5 hours instead of 4 hours and 6.5 hours instead of 6 hours).
This tour does not include food and drinks, however, the route offers some possibilities to buy some food or drinks (which can be consumed during a proper break).
