Step by Step

Located just a few kilometres from Ravenna, the Ravenna Safari transports you to the heart of Africa on a game drive through vast open enclosures. Here you will see giraffes feeding from the treetops, herds of elephants and majestic lions lounging in the shade, all with complete freedom of movement.

Beyond the vehicle ride, the pedestrian park offers safe trails leading to themed play areas, perfect for the little ones to have fun while they learn. Crocodile slides, suspension bridges and an exploration area inspired by giant bird nests complete the experience.

Throughout the park you'll find information panels and exhibits explaining the biology, behaviour and conservation challenges of each species. In addition, Safari Ravenna organises interactive talks and demonstrations with specialised keepers, who will tell you first-hand about breeding and rehabilitation initiatives for endangered animals.

A commitment to conservation is one of the park's hallmarks: they participate in breeding programmes and collaborate with international institutions to protect African biodiversity. Each visit contributes directly to these projects.

To round off your day, the park has rest areas and picnic areas (food and drink not included) where you can recharge your batteries while you take in the panoramic views of the European savannah.
