Step by Step
Alberobello, a World Heritage Site, is famous for its conical-roofed trulli. This guided tour allows you to appreciate the beauty of these white stone buildings, understanding their evolution from the 18th century to the present day. You will walk through the Rione Aia Piccola, the quietest and most picturesque neighbourhood, made up of more than 400 trulli that still retain their original charm.
Your guide will accompany you to the Trullo Sovrano, the only two-storey trullo in the city, which houses a small museum with authentic artefacts and furnishings. Although entry to the interior is not included in the price of the tour, you will admire its façade and hear anecdotes of its construction and use over the centuries.
The tour continues through hidden alleyways and squares where the Mediterranean light filters through the rooftops, offering unforgettable snapshots. You will learn about local legends, popular traditions and curiosities about life in Apulia, which have marked the character of this corner of southern Italy.
To top it all off, you'll enjoy an Apulian aperitif at Bar Bagiá, where you'll taste bruschettas, cheeses, cold meats and a glass of local wine or soft drink. All accompanied by the traditional hospitality and relaxed atmosphere of this charming establishment.
This tour brings together architectural heritage and regional flavours, offering you an authentic and complete experience of Alberobello, perfect for creating unforgettable memories.
