Berlin Body Worlds Museume Entry Tickets

Body Worlds is the first museum of its kind, exhibiting unique plastinated specimens with the aim of educating the general public about the human body.

How do they achieve this? Through a visual and auditory journey into our inner selves, exploring what lies beneath our skin. At this exhibition, right in the heart of Berlin’s tourist district, you can discover the main and most recent scientific and medical findings on the human body, its functions and diseases.

Furthermore, the museum aims to offer different perspectives that will prompt you to reflect on the factors that shape human existence. The themes presented by the museum, which will guide your visit, are: happiness, excess and moderation, pressures and relief, gluttony versus moderation, and, finally, opportunities and destiny. These themes are also designed to spark questions among visitors and keep their attention until the very end.

At the same time, if you have a smartphone, you can access an audio guide that will complement all the information provided on the tour, accompanying you with questions and key messages throughout the exhibition.

The educational approach behind Body Worlds centres on seeing what we cannot normally see. To this end, whole bodies, body parts and a diverse range of real organs are used, which are treated using the plastination technique so that the features of the tissues, organs, joints and every detail that helps us understand how our bodies function can be preserved and appreciated. In this regard, different bodies and organs are used to compare and illustrate the progression of certain diseases, addictions and lifestyles.
