Step by Step

The experience begins at the Place d'Armes in Versailles, next to the imposing equestrian statue of Louis XIV. Present your digital ticket and photo ID to your guide for immediate access without waiting at the ticket office.

From there, you will enter the palace with your group and start touring the Royal Apartments, such as the Salon de la Guerre, the Salon de la Paix and the infamous Hall of Mirrors. Your live professional guide will tell you about court intrigues, Louis XIV's building projects and the opulence of court life.

After the 1h30 interior tour, your guide will bid you an official farewell, but your visit is not over: you can continue to explore the lesser-known rooms, stroll through the side galleries and, if you wish, head to the Queen's Village to see Marie-Antoinette's country retreat.

Although access to the Musical and Fountain Gardens (between 1 April and 31 October is not included), you will have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the 809 hectares of royal park with its sculptures, copses and canals.

Please note that punctuality is key: if you arrive late, you won't be able to get in or get a refund. Bookings are strictly timetabled and will not be postponed without a new reservation.

The palace and gardens are beautiful, although the tour is very short, it should be a little longer so that everyone can enjoy the tour at a more leisurely pace.

This palace left me speechless, it is really incredible! Very impressive to see it in person, and not to mention the gardens, one of the most beautiful things I have seen on my trip to France.

I think the tour should have a minimum duration of two hours, I found it very fast but I enjoyed it very much.
