The tour is available in English and French, and includes a tour of our traditional vaulted cellars, detailed explanations of the entire winemaking process and, to close, a tasting of 2 glasses of champagne.

Step by Step
Delve into the centuries-old tradition of Champagne Charles Mignon with a tour designed to be educational. From the first step outside the house, you will feel the passion that marks each stage of champagne production, from the selection of grapes to the final disgorgement.
The tour starts at the winery's headquarters, where you will be welcomed and the itinerary will be explained to you. You will then descend into the vaulted cellars, carved out of the region's characteristic chalk, where you will appreciate the darkness, humidity and perfect temperature that allow the wine to age.
During the tour, your oenologist guide will explain the characteristics of the varieties used (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier), the stages of fermentation and ageing, and the secrets of blending that distinguish each Charles Mignon cuvée. All your questions will be answered and you will learn anecdotes from the history of the house.
After a tour of the underground galleries, you will return to the tasting room where we will offer you one or two tastings of our champagnes (depending on the formula you have chosen). Here you will be able to appreciate in the glass the notes of fruit, bakery and minerality that define their styles, and learn how to taste like a professional.
Finally, you will stay in our reception room where you can purchase bottles, accessories or souvenirs of this emblematic maison. The experience concludes back at 7 Rue Irène Joliot Curie, with the option of extending your visit in Épernay or continuing your Champagne tour.
