Step by Step
Your adventure begins at the hotel reception, where your private guide and driver are waiting in a modern vehicle. Along the way, your guide introduces the fascinating 4th Dynasty and unveils theories about how the pyramids were built. Arriving at the Giza plateau, the first stop is the Great Pyramid of Cheops, with its limestone blocks that still pose enigmas to modern engineering.
A few metres away stand the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinos, guardians of the desert for more than 4,500 years. Your guide will lead you to a panoramic viewpoint in the desert, ideal for capturing the three pyramids in line and, if you wish, you can hire a camel ride on the spot.
The tour continues at the Valley Temple of Chephren, where the priests performed mummification rituals, and culminates at the imposing Sphinx, an eternal symbol of power and wisdom. Here you will discover myths about its lost nose and hear legends that have travelled through the centuries.
