Step by Step
Come aboard and sail through one of Croatia’s most beautiful regions on this activity lasting around 10 hours. You’ll visit Mljet Island National Park, the country’s eighth-largest island. The park covers a large part of the island and consists of two turquoise-coloured saltwater lakes connected by a narrow channel.
This nature reserve is renowned for its dense forests of oak, pine and cypress trees, as well as for the unique species of animals that inhabit it, such as the Mljet giant newt and the peregrine falcon. The park is also a popular spot for outdoor activities, including swimming, hiking, cycling and kayaking.
After your visit to the park, you’ll have time to relax and go for a swim at Blace Beach, also situated on the island of Mljet. This beach, known as the ‘Crescent Beach’ due to its shape, is considered one of the most beautiful and exotic beaches in Croatia, thanks to its white sand and lush vegetation.
Having explored the island of Mljet, you’ll continue your journey to Lopud, another island off Croatia’s Adriatic coast. The island is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, such as Sun Beach, and its well-preserved historic centre. It is also home to several tourist attractions, including the Church of St Peter, a 15th-century Franciscan monastery and a Spanish fortress, also dating from the same century.
On the return journey, you’ll visit the island of Kolocep, which, at just 2.4 km², is Croatia’s smallest inhabited island. The island is known for its pebble beaches and rocky coves, as well as its walking trails and its pine and olive groves. It also has several restaurants and bars, and is a popular destination for swimming, snorkelling and diving.
On Kolocep, you’ll have the chance to swim in its famous Blue Cave, so named because of the colour the water takes on due to an optical effect caused by sunlight filtering through. You can swim and relax in the cave whilst admiring the marine life that inhabits these colourful waters.
Once the activity is over, you’ll return to Dubrovnik, as this is a return trip.
