Step by Step
Discover Toronto from above on this helicopter flight. At an altitude of around 600 metres, you’ll see the Canadian city from a different perspective during an activity lasting around 8 minutes and for groups of about 3 people. At the end of this tour, you’ll receive a photo as a souvenir of your trip.
You’ll set off from Toronto City Centre Airport, situated right in the heart of the city, to enjoy this brief but intense experience. Toronto is known for its numerous skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the tallest freestanding structure in the world outside Asia, the CN Tower.
This tower will undoubtedly be one of the first things you see. Standing at 553 metres, the CN Tower held the record for the world’s tallest freestanding structure for over 30 years until Dubai’s Burj Khalifa was recognised as the world’s tallest.
Other points of interest you’ll pass on this tour include:
- Royal Ontario Museum: this is Canada’s largest and most comprehensive museum, housing a world-class collection.
- St. Lawrence Market: the city’s culinary hub, a place to socialise and discover different cuisines.
- Fort York National Historic Site: one of the most recognisable landmarks from the air, this site is known as the place where the Battle of York reached its violent climax in 1813, during the War of 1812.
It’s worth noting that you can choose the times that suit you best for this trip, during which you’ll also see Lake Ontario.
