You have several options to choose the bus ticket with the duration that best suits you: 24, 48 or 72 calendar hours. Its validity is determined by when you first use it. In other words, if you use it for the first time on a Tuesday at 12 noon, you can continue to use it until the same time on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, depending on the option you have chosen. During this time, you can get on and off at any stop as often as you like.

Please note that when you make your booking, you’ll be asked to select a start date, but you can activate the pass at any time within one year of that date. To activate it, simply show the voucher we’ll send you on the first bus you board.

In addition to all this, the ticket also includes a self-guided walking tour of the city’s musical heritage.

Discover the Austrian city of Vienna, situated on the banks of the Danube, with this 24-, 48- or 72-hour ticket. From a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus with an on-board audio guide, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of many of the city’s most famous attractions. Customise your own tour before boarding the bus and choose from the different routes that take in various parts of the city. Hop on and off at any of the more than 30 stops available, and also enjoy a self-guided walking tour included with your ticket.

From the comfort of your seat, you’ll hear recorded commentary on the capital’s stunning historic palaces, such as the Parliament and Vienna City Hall. Remember that you can start your tour at any stop you like – it doesn’t have to be the route’s starting point.

  • Red line: starts at the Museum of Art History and crosses the Ringstrasse, with stops at the State Opera House, City Hall, the University, the Danube pier, Heroes’ Square and St Stephen’s Cathedral.
  • Blue line: departs from stop 1 at the State Opera House and reaches outlying areas such as the Prater amusement park, the Danube Park, the Danube Tower and the Kunsthaus museum.
  • Yellow line: it starts at stop 1 (State Opera House) and takes you to Schönbrunn and Belvedere Palaces.
  • Green Line (only from mid-June to early October and for 48- and 72-hour passes): starts at the Votive Church and runs to the wine-growing village of Grinzing and Kahlenberg Hill.

    The bus is very punctual at each stop, which is what I liked the most. At the stop that belonged to the Hofburg Palace we were quite late but we had no problems. I liked doing the tour at my own pace, apart from the fact that it also comes with an audio that explains everything you learn about Vienna.

    The possibility of getting to know Vienna in this way was perfect for me. As one day I thought I was going to be short, I hired the service for two days and I was more than comfortable with the timetable and my rhythm of getting to know each place. I can tell you that it is the ideal way to get to know a new city at your own pace.
