Step by Step
Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens are situated on the Mornington Peninsula, set in over 25 acres of beautifully manicured gardens. Here, green mazes, ever-blooming lavender and seasonal flower gardens coexist and change seasonally, creating a different ambience all year round.
The hedge maze, made up of over 1,000 cypress trees and winding paths, challenges you to find your way out as you enjoy the walk. With sections over 3 metres high, the design of the maze provides a fun challenge, surrounded by vibrant nature.
The lavender maze complements the experience with its scents, colours and tranquil atmosphere. Thousands of lavender plants, views over the gardens and floral paths offer perfect moments to take pictures, to take a deep breath and to simply enjoy the moment. Lavender blooms especially in spring and summer, but the gardens have charm in almost every season.
In addition, the gardens have self-guided trails, spaces to rest, local cafés on the grounds where you can sample light food (not included if not mentioned), and souvenir shops with lavender-related products. It is an accessible and enriching visit for people of all ages.
