Step by Step
Step into a natural setting of eucalyptus and ferns with the Hollybank Forest Segway Tour, a gentle adventure designed to put you at the helm of a lightweight electric vehicle, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. After a short, low-intensity, closed-circuit training session, your two-wheeled skills will be put to the test as you take to cobblestone paths and leafy trails.
As you move at a leisurely pace, your guide will point out the native flora, explaining how the colours and sounds of the forest change throughout the day. You'll learn stories about local reforestation and how the seasonal rains transform the landscape into a spectacle of light and shadow among the treetops.
The Segway, designed for off-road use, will allow you to feel the breeze in your face and a sense of lightness impossible to achieve by walking with heavy luggage. Each stop will be an opportunity to catch your breath, admire a sunny glade or listen to the singing of native birds.
On the final stretch, the group will stop in a wide clearing where the guide will take a professional photo session. These images will be uploaded onto a USB flash drive, which you will receive at the end of the tour to share your adventure with friends and family.
