The SkyPoint Observation Deck is located on the iconic Q1 building, one of the world's tallest residential skyscrapers. From its platform 230m above Surfers Paradise, you'll have a unique perspective: to the north, the sparkling Pacific Ocean; to the south, the mountains of Lamington National Park; and to the west, the vast Queensland hinterland.

With 360° views, SkyPoint is the only beachside lookout in Australia. High-powered binoculars allow you to spot humpback and migrating whales between June and November, a natural spectacle that blends perfectly with the endless ocean beneath your feet.

SkyPoint has a café-bar and restaurant where you can book everything from a light breakfast to a gourmet dinner. Imagine savouring a local dish or a glass of wine as the sun sets over the horizon, tinting the sky in shades of orange, pink and purple.

For early risers, the observation deck opens before sunrise; photography enthusiasts will find SkyPoint the best place to capture the first light of day. And at night, the city lights provide a spectacular cityscape.
