Step by Step

Take a movie adventure on this day trip to the Scottish Highlands on the Jacobite Steam Train, known for its appearance as the Hogwarts Express. From Edinburgh city centre you'll set off by coach to the country's most iconic landscapes, guided by an expert who will share with you stories, anecdotes and trivia from both Harry Potter and Scottish folklore.

Along the way you'll pass places like the famous Forth Bridge, the Kingdom of Fife, Perth and finally the majestic Glenfinnan Viaduct. There you can see it from the ground before crossing it yourself, aboard the train, on a scenic two-hour journey from Mallaig to Fort William.

Once in Fort William, your guide will be waiting for you to continue the bus ride through the breathtaking Glen Coe Valley, the scene of some of the most important historical and cinematic moments. This is where scenes from Harry Potter were filmed and is one of Scotland's most stunning natural sites.

The tour continues to Rannoch Moor, one of the most remote and wild areas of the country, as your guide shares legends and historical tales that further enrich the experience. Finally, you'll return to Edinburgh in the evening, with the feeling of having travelled through a magical world.
