Discover Toledo and Segovia, two of Spain’s most important historic cities, in a single day. You’ll travel from Madrid in an air-conditioned coach and can choose between a guided tour or a self-guided option, depending on how you’d prefer to explore each destination.

With the guided option, you’ll explore both cities accompanied by a guide, and admission to the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Church of Santo Tomé and the Alcázar of Segovia is included. If you’d rather organise your time independently, the self-guided option includes admission to the Church of Santo Tomé in Toledo and Segovia Cathedral.

Step by Step

The day begins in Madrid with a coach journey to Toledo, a city shaped by centuries of coexistence between Christian, Jewish and Muslim cultures. Depending on the option you choose, you can tour the city accompanied by a guide or have time to explore it on your own.

If you choose the guided tour, you’ll explore the historic centre with explanations of its main monuments and visit the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca and the Church of Santo Tomé, famous for housing El Greco’s *The Burial of the Count of Orgaz *.

If you prefer the self-guided option, you’ll have time to stroll around Toledo at your own pace, and admission to the Church of Santo Tomé is included, so you can visit the interior during your stay in the city.

Afterwards, the excursion continues to Segovia, where the Roman Aqueduct, the Plaza Mayor and some of the most recognisable buildings in Castile and León await you. On the guided tour, the itinerary includes commentary on the city and entry to the Alcázar of Segovia.

With the self-guided option, you can organise your time as you wish and admission to Segovia Cathedral, situated right in the heart of the historic centre, is included. At the end of the day, you’ll return to Madrid on the included transport.
