Step by Step
Discover the Alhambra complex, which is over 800 years old, on a tour led by an expert local guide. Gain direct access to the complex with your group to discover the charms of this architectural gem built on one of the hills of the city of Granada.
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, the Alhambra was a royal city where the sultans of the Nasrid dynasty resided. As well as the ornate palaces, your guide will take you to see the military fortress to enjoy panoramic views of Granada and the surrounding mountains.
You’ll also explore the Nasrid Palaces, a series of palaces, mansions, grand houses and tower-palaces that have been remodelled over the centuries by successive sultans. Among them is one of the Alhambra’s most iconic landmarks, the Palace of the Lions, with its famous Fountain of the Lions.
The tour also takes in the Generalife Gardens, a place of leisure for the Moorish kings of Granada in the 14th century. Admire the stunning garden, filled with plants, flowers and water features that captivate the eye.
